The following positions are now available:

Maintenance - 1 position, Wynhoven Apartments

Maintenance person needed with experience in painting, flooring, drywall/sheetrock replacement and/or repair, carpentry, plumbing and some electrical work. Must be familiar with and able to use various tools, equipment and maintenance supplies. AC certification is a plus. Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year experience working in the maintenance field.

Accountant - 1 position, CHI Central Office

To handle basic accounting functions that include, but are not limited to preparing monthly site billings for management fees and other charges from CHI accounts receivables. Responsible for all community's month end close of general ledger and review of financial statements prepared by asset managers. Must work with third party auditors on all community's annual audit and assist community managers with preparation of annual budgets for their respective communities. Also responsible for coding accounts payable invoices as needed, researching outstanding accounts payable balances, assisting with file maintenance in a accounts reviewing and inputting data for accounts payable as needed. Candidate will review and approve the reconciliation of bank accounts for all communities, prepare receipts and deposits for Christopher Homes, Inc., monitor bank accounts managed by asset managers, and monitor cash balances for each community. Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years accounting experience. Experience using Yardi Software a plus.

Cook/Cook Helper - 3 positions, Rouquette Lodge, Wynhoven, and Metairie Manor

Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Must be able to accurately measure ingredients for recipes. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
